Thermomix cottsge pie

Ingredients Minced meat butter plus extra for greasing 30 g onions cut in halves 100 g fresh parsley leaves only 10 g beef mince 450 g salt ½ tsp ground black pepper adjust to taste 1 pinch Madeira wine (optional) 1 tbsp Mashed potatoes floury potatoes peeled, cut in slices (0.5 cm) 900 g milk 360 g salt 1 tsp ground black pepper adjust to taste 1 pinch butter plus extra for topping 50 g breadcrumbs 2 tbsp 2 tbsp grated cheese Preparation Minced meat Grease a baking dish and set aside. Place onions and parsley in mixing bowl and chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl using spatula. Add butter and sauté without measuring cup 5 min/120°C/speed 1. Add beef mince, salt, black pepper and Madeira wine, stir meat using spatula to break it up if necessary and cook 5 min/120°C//speed . Spread cooked beef mince mixture in base of prepared baking dish and set aside. Mashed potatoes Insert butterfly whisk. Place potatoes, milk, salt and black pepper in mixing bowl and cook without measuring cup 30-35 min/95°C//speed 1. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 220°C. Add butter to mixing bowl, insert measuring cup and mash 30 sec/speed 3. Remove butterfly whisk. Spread mashed potatoes over cooked beef mince mixture in baking dish. Smooth surface using a fork. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and dot with butter. Bake for 15 minutes (220°C) or until golden brown. Serve hot. Tips Serve with a green salad, steamed green peas or steamed carrots. Check that potatoes are very tender before mashing. If they still seem firm, cook for the additional 5 minutes. After step 3, add 200 g carrots (cut in pieces) to mixing bowl, chop 10 sec/speed 4, then sauté 5 min/120°C/speed 1. Proceed with recipe in step 4. Instead of raw minced meat, use leftover cooked beef, minced for a few seconds on speed 5.
