Soap - Anger & anxiousness

TITLE: overcoming anger & anxiousness πŸ“– S — Scripture “Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath (let go intense anger/resentment)! Fret (anxious/upset/frustrated) not yourself; it tends only to evil.” — Psalm 37:8 (ESV) πŸ” O — Observation This reminded us let go of anger, resentment, and frustration. When we allow these emotions to control us, they can lead us to make wrong decisions, speak hurtful words, and act in ways that do not honour God. Anger can come when we face disappointment, or difficult people, but if we allow anger to creep in, we will lose our peace. we are reminded not to react impulsively when we are angry. We may not always understand why things happen, but we can choose to surrender our frustrations to Him and allow Him to work in His time. ❤️ A — Application Today, I choose to guard my heart against anger, bitterness, and unnecessary worry. When situations do not go as expected or people disappoint me, I will pause, stay calm, and ask God how to response in such situation. This will require forgiveness, and self-control. I will need to trust God to handle what is beyond my control and pursue peace. πŸ™ P — Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me not to dwell in anger or allow frustration to take root in my heart. Forgive me for the times I have reacted out of anger & disappointment. Lord, grant me a calm spirit, a forgiving heart, and the wisdom to respond rather than react. When I face difficult situations or people, help me to pause & seek you before responding. Teach me to surrender my worries, release my resentment, so that Your peace will guard my heart, my thoughts, words, and actions. In Jesus’ name, Amen. πŸ™ 🌿 Key takeaway: 🌸 Remember: Releasing anger doesn’t mean accepting wrongdoing. It means choosing not to let anger rule your heart while you seek God’s wisdom to respond appropriately.
